We Exist, Simple Enough?

During the holiday season we seem to throw our sentimental spirits into high gear and spend the time and money on making sure the ones we love are more than satisfied with our existence. I never really thought about the billions of dollars that go into the week behind and the ones ahead, but today I sat and decided to dedicate my own special list. Remember this is my list, so for those I offend, I'm not entirely sorry lol.

1. Hide your wallet from yourself, the best way to do this is go to the nearest woman with high heels and caked makeup and say the following "I want you to have this, Merry Christmas, Gucci is not on sale this year", and make sure to leave with a big shit eating grin on your face. Don't worry guys, your money would have went to some useless toy that kids would have misplaced anyhow, so why not misplace the one item that gives you right to purchase it.

2. Tell your families and loved ones exactly what's on your mind. Don't hesitate, give them the powerful gift of the truth. Tell that family member that their financial status doesn't make or break them, that love and appreciation goes farther than the dollar ever could. Tell that ex that life goes on, but what you had will always be a part of you, that the impact, whether positive or not will make you the person you are, that it's ok. Tell your brother or sister that you love them, support them, and will go through the depths to be their role model.

3. Look in a mirror. Look at who you used to be. Tell yourself that mistakes are ways to make it over that hill.

4. Lock the door. Curl up into the fetal position. And cry your fucking eyes out......

5. And last but not least wish yourself a happy holidays, your gonna need it......

Now these may not be the exact steps you expected for a joyous thing like the holidays, but I find it harder than usual to fool myself. At this exact moment, as my fingers grace the darkened gray keyboard, I am a happy man. But I will follow these steps to rid myself of the woes the year has brought. I will follow these steps to free myself from the cage called "facade". I will follow these steps to truly enjoy the holidays.

I realize that this may have been a little dark for the times, but I said "what the hell" and wrote what was on my mind. Please send me your holiday list and I might post a few, and make sure to include a pic or two!!!!

JUST DO ME A FAVOR GUYS AND GALS,

LIVE LIFE LIKE THE STORY IT IS MEANT TO BE,

Adrian G.
