Sharing PB&J with Jesus

My last post might have missed the bulls eye message of "Enjoy the time you have". Well I reiterate this to share a story that even I find strange. After working six long hours and having an equal amount to go, I thought lunch would be a good idea, so I took it a bit early to beat the crowd and to rest my feet. Little did I know that something profound was going to happen, something so strange and by chance that for the next six hours, I would try to come up with a meaning to this. So I am going to tell you this story, and give you the challenge of coming up with a meaning by yourself.

As I sat at lunch the overwhelming aroma of last weeks pasta filled the cafeteria, totally turned off by the smell, I decided PB&J was the way to go. I go through the checkout line and see that there were limited seats available and saw an open one next to an older gentleman. "Can I sit here?", I ask and he replies without a word but by extending his hand towards the seat. I sat, paying little mind to the gentleman, watching CNN and all of their coverage of the many celebrity deaths over the past couple of years. I glance up once to see that the gentleman was also eating PB&J and go back to enjoying the news. Minutes pass, and he gets up from his seat only to say "You, have a very nice day", I say "Thanks you too". I thought it strange how he said it but none the less went back to eating and enjoying the media frenzy. Five more minutes go by without wink and I finish eating, looking down to collect my trash I see a simple napkin with writing from top to bottom. Letting curiosity get the best of me I began to read it, and now I share it with you....

A message from a witness.
Our lives are based on time. All of us are given a limited amount of it. Once this time
expires, we are all responsible for our own judgment. Each one of us has to make a determined effort in excepting the most important question...

What will I do with the time I have left.

It is as easy as that, only you can make the decision, I say this, because I care.

This is an entirely true story, and quite ironic since the last message to you was "Make the most of the time you have." I am including a picture of the letter to show you. I even got so freaked out I called my mother at 2:38 a.m. to see if she was ok. This is not to scare anyone, and may just be a personal reminder that time has yet to be in our control. Have a great day everyone, do something different, new, exciting, and make life the story it was meant to be.
